Great for families looking for comfort
Got in late with my partner and kids but the check-in was smooth. The staff didn’t even blink when we asked to switch rooms upstairs instead of the ground floor.
Not exactly budget-friendly, but still worth it.

I stayed in the Economy Single Room for one night. Originally booked at £30, I got a call saying it was unavailable, and the only option was a £65 room. The room itself was decent but had a few issues. The light fittings were broken, and the bathroom had no heating, which was uncomfortable. Breakfast was scheduled for 8:00 AM, but nobody arrived until 8:20 AM. When I came down at 8:50 AM, no one had followed up, and I ended up leaving without eating. I liked the hotel's location on Halifax Road, which was convenient for my travel plans.

We loved our stay at this family-run gem! The rustic charm really shines through with all the original features. Our grandchild enjoyed exploring the cozy spaces, and the facilities in our room made it easy to relax after a day out.
My kids wished the breakfast had a wider variety of options.

I arrived late and my room was double-booked. The receptionist was rude and offered no apology. I had to scramble to find a place to stay, which was incredibly frustrating!
